Destinated to be a river

A river never starts as a wild, swirling current; it begins high in the mountains as a small stream and ends as a powerful river. The same goes for the flow of living water. It doesn't matter how small it starts; what matters is what it can become when you let it flow! When it receives direction, obstacles are removed, and a riverbank is formed so that the water doesn't dissipate prematurely.

 A river of living water will flow from you! God has destined you to be like a river. Just as a river starts high in the mountains, your flow begins "on the mountain with God." It starts in intimacy with Him, from a relationship!

 And the potential is overwhelming. Here are some highlights from Ezekiel 47:9-12:

 "Everything that the water of this river touches will live. Wherever the river flows, there will be swarms of living creatures and fruitful trees of all kinds growing on both banks. Their fruit will serve for food, and their leaves for healing!"

 The flow brings life, fruit, and healing wherever it goes.

 Do you let the fresh streams of the Spirit flow freely from within you? Are you aware of the flow of living water that emanates from you? Do you see the potential and promise of that mighty river?
